Hants Learning Network Association provides flexible day and evening options for CAEC Preparation. The CAEC (Canadian Adult Education Credential) has taken the place of the GED.

Have you already completed some, but not all, of the GED tests? No problem! Your GED test results count toward the CAEC until May 2027.

CAEC (GED) Preparation

Day and evening class CAEC (Canadian Adult Education Credential) preparation options are available, as well as tutoring. Attendance and dedication to homework are essential for success and increase the chances of passing the CAEC tests.

Subjects covered are Math, Language Arts - Reading, Language Arts - Writing, Social Studies, and Science.  Please click here for additional CAEC information.

HLNA's CAEC prep classes are FREE for adults 18+ and are funded by the Nova Scotia School for Adult Learning, Department of Labour, Skills, and Immigration, Province of Nova Scotia.
